Trefusis Beach at Flushing (6.8 miles)
Trefusis is a small rocky beach that disappears at high tide and has some sand at low. Located directly opposite Falmouth town and dockyard, the beach can be accessed via a passenger ferry to Flushing, followed by a short walk.

Porthbean Beach (6 miles)
Porthbean beach lies in Garrans Bay, south of Nare Head on the South West Coast Path, and is only accessible on foot. There is a hotel on the headland (shown in the photo) and the village of Trewithian is about 3/4 mile back from the coast.

Porthcurnick Beach (6.4 miles)
Close to Portscatho, this is an isolated sandy beach backed by high cliffs. The beach is reached by a footpath through fields and then steep zigzagged steps.

Portscatho Beach (6.5 miles)
Portscatho is a small, east-facing cove in the south-west corner of Gerrans Bay, on the Roseland peninsula. Rocky, with some sand at low tide, the beach is a short walk from the village, where there is a car park, cafes, pubs and shops.

Penhale Sands Beach (8.1 miles)
Penhale Sands is part of a Special Area of Conservation that joins up with Perran Sands and Perranporth beach to form a stunning, three mile stretch of golden sand. Backed by dunes that house the ruins of St Piran's oratory, the beach is easily accessed and very popular with surfers.
