  • Gyllyngvase Beach (0.6 miles)

    Gyllyngvase Beach is a sheltered sandy beach on the outskirts of Falmouth. The most popular beach in the area, Gyllyngvase has plenty of facilities and good disabled access. A range of activities are on offer.

  • Swanpool Beach (0.8 miles)

    Swanpool beach is located on the edge of Falmouth and often plays second choice to the larger, sandier Gyllyngvase beach next door.

    The beach is quite sheltered but has no lifeguard service. Along with a cafe and toilets across the road Swanpool is home to a number of beach huts.

  • Trefusis Beach at Flushing (0.9 miles)

    Trefusis is a small rocky beach that disappears at high tide and has some sand at low. Located directly opposite Falmouth town and dockyard, the beach can be accessed via a passenger ferry to Flushing, followed by a short walk.

  • Maenporth Beach (2.1 miles)

    Maenporth is a small, sheltered cove two miles from Falmouth town centre. Shallow water, rock pools, parking right by the beach and great views across to Pendennis Castle.
