Set at the northern end of the Wirral Peninsula,  Leasowe Bay is a wide, clean sandy beach. Backed by low-lying sand dunes and a hay meadow, the beach has a surprisingly wild feel. There are very little in way of facilities.

Meols lies on the Wirral Peninsula, between Hoylake and Wallasey, just off the A553.  At low tide the small stretch of shingle beach here becomes a wide expanse of sand and mudflats.
