Leven East Beach
The popular seaside resort of Leven lies on the north side of the Firth of Forth, at the mouth of the river bearing the same name. The town offers plenty of amenities and places to stay.
Many visitors come here for the long, sandy beaches and for the good walking to be had in the area. The 150-mile long Fife Coast Path runs along the promenade. Nearby Letham Glen, which has a craft centre, is popular with walkers, as is Silverburn, which offers some splendid coastal views. There are also two good golf courses.
East Beach is found along the stretch of coastline between Leven Links and Lundin Links. Part of the beach is backed by a promenade and there is parking and a camping and caravan site to be found here.
From the beach there are views over Largo Bay towards Ruddons Point, and across the Firth of Forth towards North Berwick. A picnic area, children’s play area and skateboard park are a short walk away.
