Earlsferry Beach
Elie Earlsferry Beach joins the villages of Elie and Earlsferry in Fife and sits next to Elie Harbour Beach.
The beach is known for its family friendly sands and is a centre for water sports. In the summer months cricket is a popular pastime at the beach and the western side of the beach has a range of huts that back onto graceful sand dunes.
When the tide is low the beach is made up of a large expanse of dark sand and at high tide the sea comes up all the way to the town and the main section is only accessible via the main street. If you want to enjoy the beach at any time, then the western side is accessible even at high tide.
The beach is sheltered by the surrounding harbour and as such is generally safe for swimming in the gentle seas.
