Porth Dinllaen Beach (Porthdinllaen)
The beach at Porth Dinllaen is a long sweeping sandy bay sheltered in the lee of Carreg Ddu headland at the northern end of the LLeyn peninsula.
This beautiful little stretch of coast has largely escaped development and parts are now owned by the National Trust. The village of Porthdinllaen runs along the beach front and is car-free making it a delight for families. One of the best spots to take in the scene is from the Ty Coch (“Red House”) inn right on the waterside.
