Cobo Beach
Near the heart of charming Cobo Village, this sandy bay has been likened to a Caribbean paradise (although the weather might not always be so warm!).
One of the Guernsey’s most popular beaches, Cobo Beach is a haven for young people, who flock to the nearby bars and restaurants, and families, who enjoy the soft sandy beach and relatively calm waters. Plenty of parking, as well as a wide variety of shops, restaurants and accommodations just across the street, make this beach both accessible and easy to enjoy. At each end of the beach there is a slipway and the sand can also be accessed via a few stairways located along the sea wall.
The inviting waters of Cobo Beach are perfect for a swim or for trying out windsurfing or kitesurfing. Snorkeling is also popular here, as the beach is home to some of the most pristine waters in the area. When the crystal clear waters unveil the expansive rock pools below at low tide, there is even more to enjoy, as the pools are usually teeming with sea life.
In the summer, the nearby hotels and bars really get the party going with nightly live music and patrons taking full advantage of the stunning sea views.
