Brook Bay

This attractive, mostly sandy beach stretches for over a mile between Hanover and Sudmoor Points. It is a popular spot with surfers and fossil hunters alike with the cliffs near Hanover Point formed from a prehistoric fossilised forest.
Despite its attractions Brook Bay is rarely busy.

Brook Bay Reviews
Brook Beach
Andy
Oct 27th 2020Brook beach is a short walk from the main village and just across from the Chine. It is a beautiful beach in the traditional English sense with sand and shingle and with the stunning backdrop of Freshwater Bay in the distance .Plenty of surfers and kite surfers are to be found enjoying the blustery coastal conditions and cliff walkers enjoy the coastal walks at high tide.We always enjoy our visits to the Island and this spot is really to be treasured
Plastic
Brook bay was spoilt buy lots of plastic and orange fishing rope washed up on the beach. I have never seen so much rubbish in a small area. I collected some, but the bin in the carpark was already overflowing.
