Institute Beach
This little beach is tucked away on a little headland between Torquay and Paignton. Somewhat hidden away below the red sandstone cliffs of the Livermead Cliff Hotel, Institute beach is a great spot to get away from it all.
The beach itself is made up of red sand and shingle with rocks and plenty of interesting rock pools exposed towards low tide. It isn’t the prettiest beach on the coast but the leafy backdrop and sheltered secluded feel make it worth a visit.
