A short walk from Torquay harbourside, Beacon Cove is a sheltered shingle beach. Less crowded than Torquay’s main beach, but still easily accessible.

Oct 02nd 2021I visited beacon cove in the 80’s as a teenager and it was alive, however now it seems forgotten and somewhat derelict. Perhaps when they demolished the attached hotel and replaced with a small zoo (now defunct) it was only ever going to go one way.
