St. Ishmaels (Lindsway Bay)
St. Ishmaels Beach (Lindsway Bay) is located in Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire and is a small beach nestled close to the village of St. Ishmaels. The only way to get to the beach is to walk down a pretty coastal path, or you can also walk across some fields directly from the village. The walk is fairly easy although it may prove challenging for some visitors with impaired mobility and there is no disabled access.
Flanked by tall cliffs, the beach is a little out of the way so can feel quite secluded. From the bay here you can look out over towards the Milford Haven Waterway and this is also part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Footpath. This means that you can easily visit other spots of interest in the area such as the charming town of Dale.
The beach consists of sand mixed with shingle and you can enjoy swimming here although it is not really suitable for water sports.
When the tide is low you can explore the large number of rock formation on the beach. There are lots of rock pools here that are full of marine life so any budding marine biologists will find plenty to explore.
For the closest amenities you will need to walk back into the village of St. Ishmaels where you will find some accommodation options and a typical village pub.
