Skerries North Strand Beach
Skerries North Beach forms a 1.2 km long crescent from the harbour by Red Island and runs alongside the town. This beach has more pebbles than the South beach but there is still plenty of sand beyond the high tide mark.
The beach makes for an ideal walk after enjoying a meal at one of the seafood restaurants on the harbourside.
What the North Strand has that the South doesn’t are great sunsets as the beach faces north west. You’ll even get a backdrop of the distant Mourns and Cooley mountains.
