Malahide Beach

Malahide is an expansive stretch of sand that runs between the town and the estuary. It is a popular spot with beach walkers with a mix of dunes, beach, footpath and promenade running along its 2km length.
Whilst Malahide beach probably isn’t the best place for swimming owing to strong tidal currents it is a great place for working up an appetite which you will have no problem satisfying in one of the many eateries in the town.
Malahide is surprisingly close to Dublin city centre so you might find you aren’t the only ones enjoying a weekend walk on the beach.
