  • Marble Hill is a vast beach located in Sheephaven Bay on the north coast of County Donegal. Positioned well within the bay and in the middle of two headlands, Marble Hill sits in a very sheltered location, making the water relatively calm and suitable for swimming.

The beach is located in a rural area, rich in wildlife. The sand dunes that surround the beach are a great place for bird watching and spotting wild flowers. It is one of the few areas in Ireland where visitors can hear the corncrake calling.

Marble Hill beach has been awarded Blue Flag status meaning not only is the water clean but there are plenty of facilities here. These include a lifeguard service from June until September, usually from 12:00 to 18:30. You can find shops and restaurants in the nearby villages of Portnablagh and Dunfanaghy.

There are some parking spaces alongside the beach with direct access.
