This remote, peaceful beach with its stunning mountain backdrop is the perfect destination for those seeking solitude and plenty of open space.  The terrain is composed mainly of shingle mixed with sand and there is a grassy area behind the beach which is suitable for picnics.  From here a slipway leads onto the beach.

The Afon Llyfni (river) enters the sea here, and there is a path leading along the riverbank. This stretch of the coast is used by walkers, dog walkers and fishermen.

The beach faces west and gets some spectacular sunsets.
