Silver Bay (Traeth Llydan)

A fine horseshoe of sand set between low rocky headlands and backed by dunes and pine woods.

At lower tides a few rocky islets become exposed revealing some great rockpools to explore.

I loved this place on previous visits - used to walk through a small pine wood to get to the beach - beautifully and magica! Returned today to find that half the wood has been chopped down so now only have wood on the side of you instead of walking through. - not sure why they have done this but I hope it will be replanted!!!

Never been there and found it crowded. In fact, most of the time, there has been fewer than ten people on it. Gorgeous at dawn and sunset. perhaps I need to get there more often.

What did we get wrong?
