Golspie South Beach
On the south side of the pier in the charming fishing village of Golspie, the award-winning South Beach makes a good destination for those braving a summer dip in the waters.
The wide, golden sandy beach has some of the cleanest sand in the area. The waters are generally calm and the water quality is good. On a warm day, the beach is a great place to bring a bucket and spade and while away the hours enjoying the views.
With attractive views across the Moray Firth Golspie beach is a fine destination for a scenic stroll. There are also no restrictions on dog-walking.
A short distance south of Golspie lies Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve, a perfect spot for wildlife watching.
