Monkstone Beach

A couple of miles north of Tenby is Monkstone beach, a fine stretch of golden sand punctuated by the occasional rock. This is a fairly sheltered beach and swimming here is generally safe, although there are no lifeguards. You’ll also find plenty of rockpools.

It is a bit of a walk from the nearest parking and Monkstone is best accessed from the coast path. Also there are 151 steps down to the beach so it is not accessible for the less able.

Beautiful beach

Clear sea, clean sand. This is a beautiful and quiet beach. One of my favourites. It’s difficult to access but once you’re there, it’s heaven.
