Glen Beach

Glen Beach - Pembrokeshire

This small, sandy beach lies just south of Saundersfoot Harbour and Beach, on the Pembrokeshire coastline.  The beach is backed by low cliffs and dense woodland, and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path passes through the trees just behind the beach. From the beach there are views out over Saundersfoot Bay and down the coast to Monkstone Point.

The bay between this beach and Monkstone Beach can provide some good snorkelling opportunities.

Glen beach faces east and gets good morning sunshine, but is often in complete shade later in the afternoon.

At low tide the beach connects with Saundersfoot Beach, and there are rockpools to explore for wildlife.  It is best to check tidal tables before a visit as the beach can become almost entirely submerged at high tide.

A car park, a small supermarket and a choice of places to eat can be found close to Saundersfoot Harbour. There are further amenities to be found in Tenby, a short drive down the coast.
