Gilfach yr Halen Beach
This small, secluded shingle and rock beach, backed by cliffs lies between New Quay and Aberaeron, in a relatively remote part of Wales.

The Ceredigion Coastal Path passes adjacent to the beach, and the area is popular with walkers, who come here in search of solitude and some lovely scenery.
The Afon Cwinten enters the sea here, and the cliffs are backed by rural land.
There is a holiday village close to the beach, but parking for those not staying at the holiday park can be difficult. Care must be taken not to block the single track road.
