The Mens beach at Ballybunion is the biggest of three beaches in this seaside resort. Stretching for several miles this is one of the most peaceful beaches on the coast and you won’t have any problems finding a quiet spot to yourself.

Overlooked by the ruins of a 16th century castle and Ballybunion Golf Course there’s plenty to do on the beach and in the water. Ballybunion Mens beach faces directly into the Atlantic Ocean making it a popular spot with surfers. In the summer when it is a little calmer the team of lifeguards make sure the sea is safe for swimming.

At the foot of the cliffs behind the beach are plenty of rockpools and caves to explore making this a great choice for families.
