An Trá Mór Beach Photo
Un-named river
This fast-flowing river was an effective break in the coastal footpath and prevented progress westwards with dry feet. The tea-coloured water is typical of rivers running down from the peat bogs of the granite outcrop. It was sufficient to make the sea brown by the shore in places.
