Limpert Bay (Aberthaw) Photo
Up channel squalls, Breaksea Point, Gileston.
Wales had only been brushed by squalls and overnight snow showers whilst, to the south, Somerset and Devon had suffered rather more. Prevailing westerly winds have driven the cloud up channel toward Bristol to shed the remains of its snow there and perhaps over the Midlands. The tip of Breaksea Point is to the left and a caisson, part of the cooling water infrastructure for the nearby power station, can be seen in the water to the right of the photograph.
