On a sunny Sunday afternoon in October the decent weather had brought the visitors in to this lovely spot. I love it that in the serried cars parking here you can have so much variation; some people just want to sit in their vehicle and read the Sunday papers, occasionally scanning the sea from behind their windscreen while listening to Radio 4, while others pitch up and scramble out along the coast path as eager as spaniels, while others still are straight into their kayaks and out along the coastline. There is overflow parking inland a few hundred feet too.
