Roker Beach from Roker Terrace

Looking down to the promenade and beach at the end of the C2C and W2W long-distance cycle routes. The new monolith can be seen below Roker lighthouse on the end of its curved pier [[[2194288]]] Just off picture to the right is the final C2C waymarker by the same artist adjacent to the slipway where cyclists dip their wheels in the North Sea[[2193500]] There is a similar view of the beach in 2007 here [[501368]]
