Little Island Bay (Barry Island) - Glamorgan

West coast of Little Island, Barry

Little Island is not an island, but a triangular peninsula on the western side of Barry Island (itself now a peninsula since the 1880s when it was linked to the mainland.) Little Island is composed of carboniferous limestone which was deposited some 270-350 million years ago.
