Withernsea Beach
The main beach at Withernsea is part of a strip of sand and shingle that runs for miles in both directions. An attractively redeveloped promenade features numerous cafes, fish and chip shops and pubs.
Sailing and windsurfing are both popular activities and there is a life boat rescue service stationed at Withernsea. In addition the beach is patrolled by lifeguards during the summer months.

Withernsea Beach Reviews
The beach does allow dogs, just only to the left of the castle walls. We stayed in Withernsea and believed we couldnt take our dog on the beach so travelled to Hornsea. We had a walk along the front one day and noticed it was allowed but in a restricted area even in Summer. Sadly some dog owners don’t pick up their dogs poo and spoil it for everyone!
We visited on the 29th May and were very surprised to see dog owners not following the beach rules and walking with their dogs on the beach! One had diarrhoea!!
Lovely beach and quiet very pleasant will visit again
