Ross Back Sands (Ross Beach)

Between Bamburgh to the South and Holy Island to the North, Ross Back Sands is around three miles of unspoiled dunes and beach.
A one mile walk from the nearest car parking, explains why so few visitors make it to Ross Beach.

May 03rd 2022Beautiful stretch of white sand. Lindisfarne view to the left & Bamburgh to the right. Gannets & sanderlings visible. Hardly any people. Heavenly
Wonderful beach, great for relaxing walk, Seals and Bird life are plentiful.
Not too many people either.
