Orchard Bay
Set on the far-south coast of the Isle of Wight is the pretty little cove of Orchard Bay. Overlooked by the Ventnor Botanic Garden the beach is just along from the better known Steephill Cove.
The beach is somewhat dominated by the seawall and 1820s Orchard House. This was originally built as three coastguard cottages, but ironically was the centre of a massive drug smuggling operation in the early 2000s.
