Overpriced parking, essentially just a mini tourist trap for fans of BBC period dramas.
The beach and harbor feel more policed than cared for. I think that Charlestown has lost its appeal.
Compared to the many other, far more attractive and cleaner coastal towns, villages and beaches along the south coast, this really isn’t worth the price of parking..
