Goodwick - Harbour South Beach

Goodwick Harbour is a sandy beach within the walls of Fishguard Harbour from where a ferry service operates to Rosslare in Ireland. It is separated by the harbour wall from Goodwick Sands.
Whilst the beach is popular for walking, swimming, water sports, and watching the ferries entering and leaving the harbour at low tide, at high tide the sandy part of the beach is completely submerged.
Goodwick Harbour beach can be accessed via a slipway. A car park can be found directly behind the beach. Public toilets and a watersports centre can also be found here, and a promenade, with benches facing the sea, runs from the car park.
Across the road from the beach, there is a small retail park with facilities such as shops and places to eat. Fishguard and Goodwick Railway Station is a short walk from the beach.
