Isle of Grain Beach

Located on the confluence of the rivers Medway and Thames, and just down the coast from the better known Allhallows beach is the Isle of Grain. Despite being less than 30 miles from the centre of London this area feels as remote as anywhere in southern England.
The beach at Grain looks out towards the mouth of the Thames and the North Sea beyond. Behind the beach are open fields criss-crossed with paths. Five minutes walk up the lane from the beach is the village of Grain where you'll find a pub and shop.
