White Nothe Beach Photo
Upper chalk outcrop at White Nothe
Looking up at the upper chalk outcrop on the western side of the White Nothe headland. The Smugglers Path (bottom centre) gets a lot steeper at this point and starts to zig-zag up the slope. The undercliff is colonised by scrub and grasses where the gradient is not too great - some of the larger plants visible here are holly, blackthorn and brambles.
