Par Sands

Large expanse of very gently sloping sands at low tide and ideal for a paddle. The china clay boats head for the harbour to the right. Many years ago this beach would be pure white with a layer of china clay gunge resting on the surface, which was also very slippery, so it made a fun place to slide around. A lot cleaner these days!
