"Day on the Sand" at Gorran Haven

Well organised family fun and games on the beach on a sunny August bank holiday has brought out the crowds with a sand sculpture competition among the many activities. This view from the South West Coast Path to the south of the beach shows the old fishermen's cottages at the heart of the village to the left, Little Perhaver Point with it's white cottages and large sea wall in the centre and Little Perhaver Beach beyond. The modern houses to the far right are on Cliff Drive at the top of Great Perhaver Point.
