Holland-on-Sea: National Cycle Network Route 51

While strollers and cyclists who cannot read can avail themselves of the fine sea views here, cyclists who can read have to make do with this concrete track at the base of the landward side of the high sea defence wall. National Cycle Network Route 51 is ultimately planned to connect Colchester and Oxford (why?) via Harwich, Felixstowe, Ipswich, Bury St. Edmunds, Cambridge, Bedford and Milton Keynes, but not all sections are currently open.
