Ironstone boulders on the beach, Hengistbury Head

Looking along the foot of the cliffs on the seaward side of Hengistbury Head - the Needles can be seen in the far distance. In the foreground are the brown/red boulders of ironstone that have fallen from the bed in the cliffs on the left. The removal of these boulders for use as iron ore accelerated the erosion of the cliffs.
