This is a relatively new car park, the previous one marked on the map just to the southeast of here having been closed due to coastal erosion. The ice-cream van valiantly turns up in most weathers, but no doubt did great business today - what a joy on this Bank Holiday weekend that the sun was shining and that the day was so warm (two days ago the sky was equally blue, but I was shivering in a bitter northerly wind on my walk alongside the A1, despite being kitted-out for February - today I felt way-overdressed in having set out wearing a lightweight fleece-jacket!).
