White Lady and Llanbadrig Point

Both the White Lady and the headland (Trwyn y Buarth in Welsh) are composed of a more or less contiguous bed of quartzite, very white in colour here, but variably iron-stained and yellowed nearby. The quartzite is one member of the Precambrian Gwna Melange, of which this is the type locality.
