Lyme Regis: the prom below Church Cliffs
This new looking promenade path runs at the foot of Church Cliffs, which are modest by Dorset coast standards at only 25m or so high. They are named because the parish churchyard runs right up to the cliff top. The low, flat rocky surface below is called Broad Ledge and it runs out to sea considerably, to the south (behind us).
