Cayton Bay Photo
Cayton Bay beach
A few hardy souls walk the beach on a November afternoon. In the middle distance is an old concrete pillbox, once situated at the top of the soft boulder clay cliff, but now down on the beach. At the south eastern end of the beach are more solid cliffs of hard calcarious grit of Jurassic age, to the left of which the cliff profile changes again due to a fault line.
