  • Tunnels Beach (0.3 miles)

    A network of tunnels, hand-carved in the early nineteenth century, leads to a selection of sheltered sand and shingle beaches and a Victorian tidal swimming pool. The beaches, which are backed by cliffs, can only be accessed via the tunnels, for which an entrance fee is charged.

  • Hele Bay (1.3 miles)

    Hele Bay is a sand and shingle cove situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, adjacent to the Hillsborough Nature Reserve. There are rock pools on both sides of the beach at low tide. Parking and all facilities are within easy walking distance. Access is via a slipway.
