Drinkim Bay is one of a number of beautiful sandy beaches on the little island of Caldey, just off the Pembrokeshire coast.

This is not the easiest beach to get to by any stretch of the imagination. Being located on an island several miles off the mainland is only part of the challenge of getting to Drinkim. The beach is also on the far side of the island from the landing quay and backed by steep cliffs. Probably the best way to get here is by your own boat.

A little Gem

I anchored overnight in this lovely little Bay on a Summer’s evening a couple of years back.  The water was crystal clear &  it was wonderful to swim & snorkel. The Seal’s had already pupped & were calling well into the night.  It was truly magical.
