The beach guide has 3 beaches listed in and around the town of Stornoway. We have arranged these beaches in order of closest to the town first (distance in brackets).

  • Tràigh Chuil Beach (4.4 miles)

    Tràigh Chuil (or Coll beach) is located a couple of miles north of Stornoway on a sheltered stretch of Lewis' east coast. The beach is a long sandy crescent backed by gently sloping sand dunes.
