Humberston Fitties is a wide sandy beach at the mouth of the Humber Estuary. From here there are great views of the ships and boats leaving port. ww2 forts,

The beach here is backed by sand dunes known as the Humberston Fitties. This area doubles as a conservation area and collection of around 300 vintage holiday chalets. A little further along is a larger, more modern caravan park.

There is little in the way of facilities on the beach, but that is part of the charm.

Excellent and clean, like going back in time like it used to be before careless dumping their rubbish.

I walk my dog throughout all the seasons at the fitties beach end, all the way to the creak and depending on the tide to the pirate ship retreat. It a doggy paradise 52 weeks a year. And a great stoll for me too.

Chanced upon Fitties Beach, as being the nearer to Humberside Airport - we went out of season, but managed fish n chips, and beautiful views. The vintage chalets are amazing. It’s a massive shame that there is a massive caravan site almost attached, but maybe I have a lot more to discover, here.
